Default 2000 Jeep Cherokee Power Steering problem

My fluid keeps leaking out. Tried lucas power steering fluid (supposed to fix seals). Still, the fluid leaked. Need to replace the hose, I guess. Not sure where to start with replacing the hose. I see moisture (possible PS fluid) around a metal tube, which connects to hose. Like I said, not sure where to begin.

Don't ever use Lucas Stop Leak products. They'll just create larger problems for you in the future. Post a picture of exactly where it's leaking. Sounds like you're going to need to buy a new hose for sure though. You may be looking at a new pump too though, but that is worst case scenario

the power steering hose connects to the metal tube under the much bigger hose.

Like 1996sportXJ said. You don't want to use any of those stop leak additives all they end up doing is plugging everything up. It does look like you have a bit of a mess there. I would clean it all off then add a little more fluid to make absolute sure where it's leaking.

If you look at picture number 2 and 3, the bottom metal tube (the one that is not so silver) is leaking at the nut. In other words, the power steering fluid is coming up from that nut and tube
