I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that has a no bus display on the odometer. I understand that it may be a connection problem at the computer. I have located the wiring harness but I am not sure how to disconnect. I want to clean it and add some grease to see if it corrects the problem

 

my 2000 does the same thing. when it happens i tap the wires with my feet under the dash and it comes back on. so check under the dash on the drivers side. there is alot of quick disconnects under there.
