why does my jeep only get 11.6 mpg. when i run diagnostics i get no error codes? sometimes it idle a little ruff. other then that it runs strong.

 

how long has it been since you did a tune up?

 

i bought it 8 mo ago. it only has 83,300 miles on it. last tune up was at 81,000 or so. when i bought it it only showed 13.5 mpg. it just keeps dropping. to 11.6 mpg now. help

hmmm idk i just got my jeep a few weeks ago so im not fully in tuned to the symptoms of what your going through also i have the 2.5 4 cyl but it could be alot of things like dirty intake dirty fuel injectors.... ummm drag on something (in the motor or transmission) alot of things hope you have luck finding out what it is..... sorry i couldnt help
