Where exactly is this sensor located? Got code P340...Bank 1 circuit malfunction. I had 303 first...cyl 3 misfire, changed plugs & wires...
tried starting , got p340...re-checked all connectors, got car to start .
2 days later went to start car, wont start, no codes for many attempts, then p340 came back again....
Loose connection or bad sensor???
Any input appreciated!!

It was the Cam position sensor. Located in center of engine( right side)...right above starter. I didnt need to replace plugs & wires....the sensor was throwing the #3 cylinder misfire code...researched and found this is a typical code associated with sensor problem....
