2'' lift vibrations
I just installed a 2'' lift on my 99 cherokee. I am getting vibrations mostly in third gear (manual trans) at around three thousand rpm. It is noticeable in other gears to but not like in third. I am guessing that i need a t case drop right? I thought with only 2'' I wouldn't need it but guess I am wrong. Also, it doesn't start well and idles kinda rough. To start it I had to add some throttle and keep it revved for it to stay alive. After 5min of driving it seems fine. Any Ideas?
Thanks
Thanks
I needed a t-case drop with my 2".. although after I measured i think it was much higher than 2".. I did load it down with bricks to reduce the vibrations and even at 2" i had to get a t-case drop.. If you don't have a torch.. Don't do it yourself..

I too had the vibrations after the 2" lift. I purchased a 1" tcase drop from DaveD. If you soak the nuts & bolts prior to starting the project, it'll go much easier. Also, go to Autozone or any auto parts store that rents tools and get the stud remover set. After about an hour, you'll be done!
Good luck!
