im wondering if i were to pull off a stock alt from a junkyard and replaced my A/C compressor (if i found a mount that works), how would i hook up the voltage regulators? would i need 2? or would one work and just run 2 extra wires from one alt's regulator to the other in parallel. i realize i could just buy and upgraded alternator, but why when i could get a cheapo one and double my output, and replace something that im not using in my engine? and isnt 2 alternators cooler anyway? if one fails, i still have another. oh its also for my sound system, i hate seeing my lights dim, and i know i also could get a capacitor, and i will, but i dont wanna beat that bush around.

also, anybody know of a bolt in alternator where the a/c compressor goes on a 92 cherokee?
