Default 2.8L carburetor replacing

Hi all,

XJ 1985 2.8L manual with big problems on Rochester carburetor , therefore I thought to replace
which is the best solution ? weber ?
weber carburetor also has hoses with the vacuum system ?

Rochester R2 E2SE (W) 2.8 Ltr. 84-86 38 DGES

Nope same as what you got 38 DGS with kit WK 490

And yes there will be ports to hook up vacuum lines.

but it goes well for 2SE ?
if you do not connect the vacuum lines what happens ?

Found this...Part No. WK490
Note: Jeep and GM fuel pumps typically supply a high or inconsistent fuel pressure to the carburetor. We strongly recommend the installation of a Holley 12-804 fuel pressure regulator set to 2.5 psi for correct operation and optimal performance

Certain things will not operate as designed causing poor running issues bad fuel economy.
