Default 1999 cherokee sport. no fire

i just bought this 99 with a bad motor. i had one from a 96 that ran strong when pulled, swapped intake/exhaust, and distributor over from 99 motor. changed plugs, wires, cap and rotor. it cranks just fine, has spark and good fuel pressure. i am at a loss. only code its thrown is throttle positition sensor.

If it has the original 16 yo cooling system, easier & less expensive to just replace it.
