Hello all,
I have searched for this before but I couldn't find anything to answer all my questions.

I have a 1998 4.0L 4wd with the limited trim package. Anyway, I'm having issues with the passenger side taillight. I have brake lights, reverse lights and turn signals, just not a tail light on that side. I replaced the bulbs, then the harness, Still nothing. So, I am about to check the wiring on the light. so my questions are:
-The taillights are wired together(from front, to driver side to passenger side in that order) correct?
-is it just one wire connecting the two lights, or is the whole harness ran all the way to driver's side light?

The passenger side tail light is supplied voltage by one wire in the bundle that runs from the driver's side to the passenger side. There is usually a plug (not sure about a '98) linking the rear harness to the main harness behind the driver's side rear quarter panel and the harness runs along the driver's side sill to the driver's footwell.

I don't have a schematic in front of me but maybe someone can tell you which wire in that bundle should carry voltage for your passenger side tail light.
