I purchased a 98 cherokee from my neighbor column had been drilled out. replaced column but now key will not come out unless I remove the actuator cable which may be tying into my main problem THE JEEP WILL NOT RUN UNLESS I JUMP THE FUEL PUMP RELAY! yesterday, I jumped the relay and took it for a drive, when I returned, I could not remove the key until I unhooked the actuator cable. It was then that I noticed that the little cylinder Solenoid maybe? on the cable was very hot! any ideas anyone?
