So, I've searched everywhere and cant find a wiring diagram for the keyless entry on a 1997...All other years but this one. Anyone have a diagram? I'm trying to hook up keyless entry. I bought an after market system. Didnt wanna spend the money on new jeep key fobs. I need the color code in the over head.

The 97 FSM wiring diagram shows a LB/RD wire for the Door Lock Request Sense, and a DB wire for the Door Unlock Request Sense. Thats all the FSM shows for the RKE (Remote Keyless Entry). It says to see 8W-39-2, for the overhead module, but there is no 8W-39-2.

The FSM does show pinouts for the overhead module. They are:

Pin 1 = YL (Door Ajar)
Pin 2 = PK (Courtesy Lamps)
Pin 3 = BK (Ground0
Pin 4 = GY (Immobilzer Telltale)
Pin 5 = DB (Unlock Actuator)
Pin 6 VT/BR (CCD Bus +)
Pin 7 = empty
Pin 8 = DB/GY (Fused Battery Signal)
Pin 9 = BK/LG (Logic Ground)
Pin 10 = BK/RD (Horn Relay)
Pin 11 = LB/RD (Lock Control)
Pin 12 = WT/BK (CCD Bus -)
