I just got a Pioneer DEH-11E for Christmas. I'm pretty smart with computers and electronics in general, so I figured I would be able to install it without paying some business a ridiculous amount.
Anyways, I've built computers and stuff before, so I've got a decent amount of experience, but I have no clue where to even start with this. I've looked around the internet for a few hours, but have yet to seen any set-in-stone answers.
This is why I've come to a XJ forum. Could anyone tell me the bare necessities I will need in order to install this aftermarket stereo, then we can continue from there.
Thanks guys

Glad I could help
if your wiring is still all intact(which it should be) the whole install shouldn't take but 20-30 minutes tops. Its literally just take the old unit out, unplug everything, plug the new one in and put it in. Viola!
I guess i'm not understanding what you'er saying, but what wires is he having to match?
