1996 Jeep cherokee
hi have a 96 Xj sport 2wd how hard is it to convert it to a 4x4... oh yeah can anybody help me with a tutorial or instructions on how to use seafoam... Thanks..

Sell it and buy a 4x4. Conversions can be nightmares unless you really, really have some mechanical skill and the tools/shop to use them.
Seafoam? Just read the can (not being flip, but the instructions are clear)...but I'm not a "believer".

Of all the vehicles to convert to 4wd... I would say the XJ is probably one of the easiest to convert. The front suspension and steering are identical. You could probably get a 4x4 for cheaper.... but if you have access to the parts and you do the work it can be done.
Just a general list you would need.
Front axle with matching gear ratio to rear.
4wd tailshaft for trans, or complete 4wd trans.
Tcase
Front and rear driveshafts.
