1996 jeep 4.0 rough ideal
1996 jeep cherokee 4.0l high output ..... Ok so I'm having a problem with my jeep at first when I got the jeep it was idling rough sounded like water in the gas I did put dry gas in and change fuel filter I also unplug the tps and plugged back in now it will ideal fine put when you drive it once you punch The gas to the floor it bogs like its out if gas put you can crusie with it lightly on the gas

Sounds like your pump is nearing failure. I would check to see how much fuel pressure you have. Snap-on scanners will also display TPS% in the data section, you can verify that your TPS is working properly if it reads 100% when the pedal is too the floor. It could also possibly be a dirty MAF (mass air flow) sensor, or 02 sensor.

+1 check fuel pressure, TPS (can be done with a multimeter set in DC volts, lots of writeups on here), and clean the MAP and check for vacuum to it, if your 96 has the stupid little hose.
You should have an upstream O2 sensor regardless of illegal redneck hacks. It's kind of important. It is installed in the downpipe.
BTW since removal of factory emissions devices like catalytic converters is against federal law the discussion of such is banned here. You might want to think about fixing it.
