I just Bought this Jeep and the factory Radio turned on but no sound so I put a after market stereo in and same thing. But now if the volume is turned up you get a quick sound when you turn the key off. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

 

Have you verified the speakers all work? How about a good power supply and ground?

 

yes all the speakers work and good power and ground. what has me going crazy is that the factory radio did the same thing except no noise ever came out.

 

One or more of those items isn't right. If you have working speakers and cabling, +12V power and a good ground, and it's all connected correctly, there isn't anything else to keep it from playing.

Try running power direct from the battery (test purposes) and see what happens.

Do you hear a hiss from the speakers if you turn the volume up? If so, Check your antenna input.
