Default 1996 Cherokee Correct vacuum pressue

I'm installing a new wildwood master cylinder and proportioning valve to complete my drum to disc conversion.

Need to know what is the correct engine vacuum amount. I have 16.5".
Is it suppose to be 18-20" ?

I have 16.5 as well. A tad low I think, but with 277K I guess it could be worse. I'd hazard a guess you are OK.

Yea. I'm no expert but I believe things like worn rings and intake valve guides lowers vacuum.
