What is a " DISTRIBUTOR Pick-Up Assemblyl "

A rose by any other name is still a rose, unless you are searching for one and do not know the other name!
Code 54 distributor sync sensor. Code 11 crank sensor. Click here-

ROFLMAO .......

Perhaps you missed my point.

I like your video as it shows the all too easy task of changing the " Cam Sensor ".

Go into Advanced and ask for a " Cam Sensor " or " Camshaft Position Sensor " and they do not carry it.

Ask for a " Distributor Pick-Up Assembly " and they carry that.

If I had known to ask for a " Distributor Pick-Up Assembly " the repair would have been done sooner and one less tow job !!!!!

A rose by any other name is still a rose, but you won't get it unless you know that other name!

The sad part I guess is the guy at Advanced claims to be " jeep guy ", he owns and drives a couple of them.

Jeep in question has been repaired and I have not seen it since yesterday ...... so for now, all is well !!!!

You and me both!

Now I can refocus on the careful acquisition of my next project .... which will also serve as a backup for the XJ.

I think I am going with a Wrangler this time around ...... not sure what years to look for but I have found three possible candidates .... 1994 / 1997 / and 1998.

The 1997 was old man owned and driven and used as a weekend toy, maintained by a dealer ...... soooooo that one may hold promise.

The other two were last owned by younger drivers who turned their own wrenches at times and that scares me! LOL
