1995 Cherokee Country Serpentine belt
Today I decided to take out the thermostat to do a cooling system flush. Getting it out was a cinch....however getting that bottom bolt back in is turning out to be a pain in the butt. Anyone have any quick tips aside from loosening the serpentine belt? Just in case...how DO I loosen the belt on this year model. I watched a dozen Youtube videos and none of them were of any value to me. From what I understand, I have to take the air box off, then loosen 3-4 bolts around the power steering pump, then adjust the one bolt under the power steering pump? I had my wife out there helping me this morning with her small hands to get that bottom nut on the thermostat housing. What was Chrysler thinking??? A 1/2 inch higher would have been nice.
