Alright guys, I just bought this XJ last week and the door latch for the driver side door is completely shot. I took it out of the door and there is plastic falling out of the latch assembly. The door wont open nor close with the assembly inside so ill just have to break down and buy a new one. The problem here is that for the life of me I cannot find the correct replacement assembly for it. I can only find the lock actuator and then the latch Im only able to find for XJs 96<. Anyone know where I can pick one up, other than the junk yard? Should I take it into Auto Zone and see if they can do anything or is there a way I can order a different one for a newer XJ and some how get it to work? Any help would be much appreciated!
