1994 Transmission Binding/Jerking after Motor Swap
I have a 1994 xj and swapped in a Motor from a 93. Used the existing transmission. Once it was all re-installed the tranny doesn't like going anymore. Hard shifts in and out of reverse, park, and neutral. Transfer case doesn't want to shift to neutral or 4low. It feels as if it's stuck in 4wd. Tight turns and the front tires jerk and skip.
It's most definitely not liking something. Almost like its binding. What did we do wrong? Please keep in mind I know nothing about transmissions. Willing to learn though. Had someone reinstall it for me. Had it completely removed during motor swap.
Transmission was fine prior to swap. Did we not align something right? Should I begin tearing it out again?
