I have had overheating issues with my 92 Jeep briarwood since I got it. It is only in the warmer season; when I am idle, climbing elevation, and driving all day. I usually turn on the heat, which is not fun in the summer, to pull the heat off the engine. I REALLY want to figure this out soon. Both fans in the front run. I was wondering if it was the thermostat, but I am not sure.

It's under $200 to replace everything. Radiator, water pump, hoses, thermostat. Takes a half day, if you've never done it before.
It is not likely your thermostat, but it's cheap to replace. Mopar brand is recommended, even though it's pricier. It's too critical a component to go cheap.
My bet is the water pump itself. They can get rusted to the point they don't move much water, without ever leaking a drop. Here's what mine looked like at one point:
