Default 1992 Comanche will not start

Hello everyone...
I have a 1992 Comanche 4.0L Pioneer that has been with us for 15 years, with little trouble.
3 weeks ago I noticed it had trouble starting. The next day it would not start at all.

Here is a list of what I have replaced or checked....
CPS- two installed..no change
spare ECU- no change...Plugs, wires, cap and rotor are good.
The coil tested within the listed parameters, too.
Fuel pump and regulator are good.
No code comes up in the dash except 12 and 55...

We have a spark from the coil to the distributor. and no spark to the plugs. any of them.
The distributor is turning correctly and is installed correctly.
In fact, I picked up another (used)distributor and no change after I installed it.
Does the pick up coil in the distributor have a way of being checked? With a good spark from the coil, I suspect all of my sensors and ECU are good. What can I check? Any help is appreciated. My 16 year old is patiently waiting for the keys...
