I have a '91 Laredo with a 92' 4.0L and AW4 Trans. The trans won't move out of park. No I don't mean the shifter, I can shift fine, but I can't move. It also won't start in neutral. I though NSS but it starts fine in park. I checked my shifter linkage and it's hooked up and looks fine. Any ideas? Trans was empty (bone dry) yesterday, added 4 quarts ATF, started, added four more quarts ATF in neitral. I really need to get her driving, my current daily is about to leave me! ( Mom's car, going to my sister when she moves) any help welcome!!

It'll start in neutral now (I didn't do anything except make sure that the shifter was actually in neutral very carefully)
