I have a 1990 XJ 4.0 It intermittently acts like it is going to die. Then it takes off and has lots of power. We changed the fuel filter. checked fuel pressure and it is ok.. It is idling really steady at stop lights. It is mainly when you take off.
My husband thinks it might be something electrical. I am not sure which sensors to check or what. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.
