Default 1989 XJ Laredo Speedo Cable Replacement

Having trouble finding a compatible speedo cable for my 89 Laredo. It has cruise control, however it doesn't work. I've heard it's a different kind of cable if it has cruise control. The reason I am replacing is the clip that goes to the instrument cluster snapped. It still works but it's just pressed up against it. Anybody know the correct cable I need?

Edit: Further research shows it is a two piece cable, with the second upper piece going to the gauge cluster. So, I might be able to replace just that one I assume?

I'd hazard a guess that's a part only the dealer might sell, and likely they no longer do that. You can check of course, but finding one at a junk yard is likely your best bet. Also there are online places. onlyjeepparts.com or the like.

Yep. But, can you confirm that a 1989 Laredo would have the two piece cable? I watched a video of somebody changing out their instrument cluster on an 89 Pioneer and my cable looked identical. Can't find much info online. I am assuming my jeep has cruise control. I see the controls at the end of the turn signal lever, they just don't function. Most likely a vaccum leak.

Seem there not even a part number to be found. You cold always just use non cruise cable seeing how cruise don't work any way.
