I was in town with my 89 cherokee. Made a couple of stops. Towards the end of my trip the jeep started stuttering during accelaration. I pulled into a mcds drive thru and it was running really rough and acted like it wanted to stall out. I left it in nuetral when i could and kept it running. I made it through and got back on the road. For a time it was hard to accelerate and stuttered a lot. I babied it along for a while and by the time I got home it seemed to be running fine.

Took it for a drive this morning without any issues.

Any ideas what could have caused this? It sat for a time but I have been driving it for about a week without any issues until yesterday.
