Default 1989 Jeep Cherokee No Spark

I am new to this site, I have been working on my jeep all day it wont start it cranks but its not firing. I replaced the ignition module, coil still no spark and had the module tested it tested fine. Checked the fuses, wiring everything seems to be intact no blown fuses. I checked the relays there fine. Fuel pump is new and its working. Even checked the module in the distributer and its working. Any suggestions would be helpfull. Its a 1989 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 4.0 automatic transmission

Its the crank position sensor..
I highly advise buying a Mopar part, because they are a nightmere to replace! and its one part that i have terrible luck with from parts stores..

Top drivers side of transmission bell housing..

I have problems finding a high pressure fuel hose that connects to the fuel rail its being held on by a hose clamp right now. If I take it off and reconnect it, it will fire up most of the time.

This post helped me so much. After weeks of frustration I located my crank sensor, and it was just a bad connection. Thanks for all the posts.

beware of this, sometimes with you unplug the CPS and plug it back in it will seem like it is working again, but it is not. it is best to replace it with any signs of wear. cause you dont want to be stuck in the middle of a trail because of a stupid sensor!

Next time I get 40 bucks I'll definatly replace it. Right now I'm unemployed and looking for work.
