same kind of deal with my new project:

1: starts up, revs to 2k, then tries to drop to a 'normal' idle, and engine makes noticeable sucking noise from throttle body, then dies

2: when starting, trying to use throttle to keep it running, it will bog and or repeat same loud sucking noises before dying...

This is my first go at a renix engine, would really appreciate some ideas on where to start. My wife is NOT happy i brought home lawn art,,,

 

well i looked at my throttle body and it does look alil dirty however i stripped a bolt trying to get it off there were 3 bolts t40's i stripped one frozen on now the only way to drill out my tps sensor bolt is to do it with the throttle body inside the car somehow. but atleast i picked up the new sensor im gonna try spraying the tb with kleen real good till its clean however u prolly gotta wait till ike 20 starts before the computer readjusts itself and it runs good seems like since i cleaned my iac it stalls more now boggs out after i let off gas more
