I just bought a 1989 Cherokee xj. It is an automatic and has very low idle, almost to where it stalls. Where should I start with diagnosing that issue? I also am looking for any pointers on a parts list needed to perform a proper tune up on this 4.0. It has 189k miles. Thank you in advance.
