1988 Cherokee Laredo, anyone remember if the multifunction lever (turn sig., wiper, no cruise) just snaps in? Mine broke around the rubber insulator, not sure if I can get the remainder out without pulling the steering wheel (did this a while back to fix tilt but don't remember how the lever came out), will try to get it out if it just snaps in otherwise will pull wheel, etc. to get at it.

I know the non tilt just pulls straight out.

 

My 93 with tilt just pulls straight out.

 

Thanks. Don't know if there is enough room for me to grab the stub with needle nose pliers but will try. A bit chilly here in MT, would rather not pull the steering wheel if I can avoid it.
