Up to what year Cherokee can I go to a junk yard and pull leafs and coils off of? I'm hoping to go tomorrow. I just bought it and it needs new leafs/coils/ and shocks badly.

Default well

as far as i know, the coils and leafs are all the same throughout all years of the cherokee, so springs from any cherokee should work fine.

By the time you pull these parts from a jeep, you'll prolly wish you had just bought a 2" budget lift kit. It will be easier to instal new parts also.

I just bought my 88 2 door xj. It needs new leafs/coils/shocks badly. In a couple months when i have the money, i'll be putting a lift on it and some bigger tires. I just want it to be able to get me to work and back without bouncing me out of the drivers seat all the time haha.

I'd rather go to a big U pull type junk yard and spend 40 bucks on a set of leafs, 20 on coils, and 15 on shocks, then spend a bunch of money on new stock stuff, when hopefully i'll be putting a lift on it soon.

Thanks for the help though, greatly appreciated.
