1988 chief batt not charging
So the other night I went to start the jeep it started and immediately died, I got out checked the cables they were loose I tightened them and there was a spark I didn't think much of drove 17 miles home parked, left it off for bout an hour got back in made it around the block if died, dead batt. I walked back home got my wife's batt. Threw it in it fired up. So I said its a bad alternator bought a new 1 had both battery's charged back up put on the alternator and started the jeep and watched it kill 2 battery's in the driveway how do I fix this? There is a block with a lot of wires running from it what is it called it had a power wire straight from the battery and then a bunch of wires coming out of it could it be the problem and where do I get 1.
