1987 No fuel...

Engine: 4.0L, I-6, MPI
So, it was suggested that I check the ceramic ballast by bypassing it or feeding it 12v to see if I can hear the fuel pump coming on... However, this is all I find where the ballast should be?... Help!!! Thanks!

I don't recall hearing anything... (The Jeep is in another city and I'm only able to make it down 1-2x each week or I'd go try it right now...)
