I have a 1986 jeep Cherokee pioneer with the GM 2.8L V6 and manual transmission. I'm looking to replace the rear end with the matching gear ratio to the front axle. Looking on Wikipedia, it says that the V6 models with manual tenants came with 4:10 gears. Can any verify this??
Also, I'm tryn to decide if I want to stick with the 4.10s or spend the cash and go with 4.56s. Is it worth te money to install 4.56 gears if I already have the 4.10 in the front axle??

I found the tag on my Dana 35 that I just removed. It has a serial number on it, which I looked up and it says a 4.11L gear ratio.
Thanks for your help
