1984 Jeep, 4wd.....stalling when in reverse
I just bought a 4 door, 4wd, auto trans, 178,000 miles, 1984 Jeep last night. Today I have noticed it stalls when I put it in reverse. Like every single time. Also, sometimes its hard to put in park. The transmission was rebuilt and only has 40,000 miles on it and the miles are at 178,000. Its is overall pretty excellent shape for an 84'. What can I do to fix the above problems?? I'm a single Mom, I don't want to ever be stranded all alone. Please help!!!
