Default 1.5 Spacer/Shackle on a 3" lift?

So I Have a 96 XJ sport with RC 3"AAL w? LCA's. I wanna go a little taller but I'm not sure if I should add the spacers to the front coils. I mean the back should be ok but what about the front.

Anyone got any input?

actually the back is what you need to worry about. add a leaf will wear out sooner, so you'll lose some rear lift height. maybe throw the shackle on the rear when the lift height is lost

if you want a 4.5" lift. but dont want to buy a new lift. buy some rear leaf springs at 4.5" lift and throw a 1.5" spacer up front. the AAL is the bad part of this equation.

the lift is fresh still too. I figure a 2" shackle on the back and 1.5 on the front

it will work, and be ok. but the rear wont hold it height like the front, and will be sagging lower then the front. if your going to change it later go for it. or wait for the bastard pack. then insert spacer to level it out to the rear. that would be more ideal. other wise you could be redoing it all later. but you could throw it on there for now... just want to save you the extra work.

If you're worried about your back height changing too much you can just get adjustable front spacers (they are a real thing, some go from 1-3 inches) my friend has sagging leaf springs on shackles so he bought adjustable pucks for the front, they worked great (had no offroad potential though, it was a F**D lol) anyways if you go over 3 inches probably best to do a transfer case drop too and brake line if your worried when flexing

As has been said, spacers and shackles will work, but you'll eventually get a bad a sag in the rear due to having an AAL. Either get a 3" full pack for the rear and use the shackles and spacers or get a 4.5" full pack (whether new or bastard) for the rear and spacers for the front.
