At my bodyshop someone hit a curb and bent the front diff so were getting a new one. What can I use off the old one? I got a 96 XJ.
Calipers, springs, tie rods track bars, sway bars LCA,s rotors, pads shocks, it's all complete.
Donor : 2004 grand cherokee laredo I6 auto.
Me: 96 XJ 2 door 5 speed 4x4. with whatever axle it has stock. and tons of bent stuff is on my car and i been death wobblin for 2 years with it. Thanks guys

the axles are interchangeable.
Check gearing though.

The axle in the Grand Cherokee is a low pinion axle, while the axle in the front of the 96XJ is a high pinion axle.

I think the WJ Grand steering parts are beefier than the XJ. It may also have OTK steering, can't remember so don't quote me on that.
Though if they managed to bend an axle, I think its safe to assume all of the steering and suspension parts are pretty trashed.

You will be better off going to the jy and getting the correct parts. Both axles are d30's but setup and style of axle is very different. You can use the zj tie rods and maybe the break parts.
