Hi. did search but nothing comes up with what im having problems with.

Here goes. Owed my grand for a few months now. For the past 2 months the Engine light comes on and the gearbox goes into limp mode and stays in 3rd... That was once a week atg best but now is stuck in limp mode.

Took to a shop and they could not get any codes at all. They checked all fuses and tested the battery which they said needed replacing and replace the Battery terminals.

Took it to the Battery place and they tested and said my battery is fine and showed them the terminals and said Ill get some new ones as they were alittle loose. I got into the car and it drove fine home.

So I thought yeah the terminals for sure. Changed them and still no good. Its got me stumped as when I moved them it was fine untill I got home that day.

But the P0700 is on the dash still and mechanic can't pull any other codes. Its got me buggerd.


Any idea's before I burn it LOL.

Had the battery tested yesterday so either the guy had a crap mechine or my battery charger is lieing saying its under 80%.
