02 Sensor Replacement
Going to replace all my 02 sensors this weekend or next. First time doing that job but it looks to be within the skill-level of a back-yard tinkerer.
A Few questions:
1) any out-of-the-ordinary tools I'm gonna need, or we just looking at wrenches and a cooler?
3) NTK over Bosch seems to be the prevailing wind, right?
2) I checked Rockauto and looks like they've only got one of my needs. Is Amazon my next best bet (price-wise)?
As always, thanks

I use the Bosch ones from Napa. A 02 socket or wrench will make it alot easier, but not necessary. I get em nice and hot, then hit em with some pb blaster, they will probably be rusty and hard to get out. Liquid encouragement is always good!!(beer! Lol) when you get them hot, then quench them with oil, they seem to come out easier.

I have this set of sensor sockets, works great. Sometimes they are the only way to get em out.

I'd say definitely go for NTK. Both upstream and downstream were on rockauto for me but i've heard of people getting them off Amazon so check there. An o2 socket would help a good deal to get em out. Make sure to put anti seize on the threads of the new ones before putting them in

Easy way to remove them is when your exhaust is still warm, As long as you have some protection for your arms ( I have kevlar arm gaurds from the paper mills we use them when we change out the steam drums on the paper machines, they are alot hotter than an exhaust) when your exhaust is still hot they spin right out with out any other aid.
