my 2000 jeep has had a rough idle. it has begun 'jumping" or surging/stalling briefly at 45mph. check engine light came on today. I attached the printout from the engine codes. cylinger 6 misfire. i just replaced the spark plugs, and it didnt help.
vaccum leak?
injector fault?
High or low Fuel pressure?

 

Disconnect #6 fuel injector plug while running.if it makes no difference leave it off for 20-30 seconds and see if it throws an open injector circuit code.this will tell you if its the injector or wiring.my 2000 wiring in that area was stuck together from heat and i am currently battling this same problem.check batt with voltmeter cranking and charging.if it drops below 8.5 while cranking you have a bad batt
