00 and 01 intake on older xj

anyone know if the 00 or 01 intake manifold will fit on a 95 xj? I think it would. But not an expert on these just yet. But trying :P and also how much will this help my jeep? If much at all.

From what I've read I believe the 00'/01' intakes are not very sought after, cracking/warping problems I think....

Well I heard your suppose to get more power out of it tho. But idk the exact verdict.

I thought 99 had the restrictive one that the 00-01 fixed? Confused ...

I have always been told that 99's were the best but I could be wrong.

From what I have been reading online late 99 through 01 are the best, so I will have to retract my previous statement. Sorry, learned something new haha.

Ah so they do help. I'm just trying to boost my mpgs.... Way gas prices are going and going to college I don't have to much money to spend but I've been building up the account over break.

I never heard of anyone doing this on there xj but I mean if you can get a whole newer manifold for between 50-100. I don't see anything wrong with getting a newer one then.

Well I got the 99 but I don't know if I already have the good one or the older one since it happened in 99 at some time. Figure if I port mine I win either way.

Yeah look at the link above. The older ones are more boxy and the newer is curved. But you could port it if you wanted. Just there's no turning back.
