I would clear your cache and cookies on the web browser by logging out then back in. If that doesn't work let me know. Although I am curious if you can't load the site how you posted this...

i've had the same problem on and off for a while. takes a good long time to load on my android or my pc. and only this site. i thought it was my router but nope signal and connectivity are good .

I use my android smart phone 99.9% of the time But im not using the App. Mainly because I think the App SUCKS. I always use my phones Web Browser. And for the past 2-3 days every time my phone loads this forum everything is ZOOMED WAY WAY FAR OUT. I have to zoom in really close just to click on threads. But this is the only forum my phone does this on. All other web pages or forums my phone loads everything is automatically zoomed in on close enough and centered on my phones screen. Cherokee forum used to load okay but not anymore. And its just this forum when loading so thought your web site might be having problems. Is anybody else having this problem?
Also when this forum loaded I only used to see maybe (6) COTM pictures across the top of my screen. Now I see (12) 1/2 COTM pictures across the top of my screen. Is this why im having this problem? Because for some reason a years worth of COTM pictures need to be displayed across the top of the screen and my Web Browser has to compensate for this and Zoom Way Out to fit them all at the top of the screen?

Sounds to me like a 3rd party advertisement site that might be having issues. I use google chrome and use the adblock extension, this blocks almost 98% of advertisements and speeds up page load times.
