Hey all, I have a question regarding my post interface and whether or not its the same as everyone else's.
I remember the interface looking like this (courtesy of our friends at the red forum):

With buttons for font modifications, picture insert, and the works.
Now my interface looks like this:

And the only way I can do font mods and embed pictures or video is with BBCode. It requires me to upload media as attachments.
What gives?! Doing longer posts is a pain and all my embedded pictures show up at the bottom of the thread also.

I've put the question out to a few people. Seems odd. What exactly are you doing, and how are you doing it, as in what platform are you posting on, pc, laptop, mobile, etc, and if mobile, IOS or android, please be specific as possible to minimize confusion

Using my phone (iPhone 8, IOS 12.3.1, Safari) I get the interface with buttons if I'm using the mobile specific site BUT if I switch to the full site I get the interface without buttons.

Your ad blocker is not allowing the post editor tools to load, I've seen this on some other sites with people running 3rd party ad blockers. Unfortunately I can't really troubleshoot the effects of a third party plugin

I removed my ad blocker extension as well as an Avast antivirus extension (the only two extensions I had), restarted my computer, and there was no change. I also checked that I'm on the most recent version of Chrome.
