Actually bheath is correct. I only change names once. I do not cater to name change whims. Folks are lucky I do that.
I am also implementing a new rule once you hit 100 posts no name change. Sorry but once you have been around for awhile you have an identity. I remember names pretty well and do not like them to change on me.
Just to add anyone beyond 6 months won't get a name change either. That's my standing rule. We don't change names simply because you had a 96 and bought a 99. Sorry not gonna do that.

I agree (and kinda said I figured as much) that you won't change on a whim. However, consistence is a big deal. If my new name/identity/business is so revised everywhere else, I suspect a reasonable accommodation is not asking to much.
Another situation I foresee as a reason to change a user name is a ham radio person who upgrades there license and their FCC issued call sign changes (and that is the user name they choose).
Of course the site could always institute a "real names only" policy. Many sites do this too.

Paying for something that is already supported by tons of advertising revenue just isn't my thing. So much so that revenue makes up 10x over any cost to run the site. Still working on how much the site makes...but I suspect it is a lot more than people think.
But thanks for also recognizing my positive contributions too....cause I'm sure you are all over that too!
I would easily pay, when I see a justification. I like the site. Perhaps the site needs a paid administrator that can spend more time adressing member concerns and suggestions. I recognize you are busy, but sometimes it just isn't enough for something to grow...and this site needs to grow.
