I know this was mentioned before, but now that the site is under new "management" I figured it should be asked again.

Many people feel that 25$ is too much to pay to be a member on a forum, others just dont have the extra money.
I think that if we got a lower level, cheaper membership, there would be a greater percentage of paying members. The 25$ membership and all its features would be kept, of course.

I think 15 sounds like a good price, and these are the features I would suggest:

1. User title color, something different from the blue of a 25$ member. Maybe something like green.
2. Bigger avatar like the 25$ membership
3. Bigger PM box, Maybe 200 messages?
4. Access to "The Underground"
5. One small sticker

 

So u want all that regular paying member get except the color green? Oh and one sticker? I thinl all the above is cool but the underground, that should stay for full paying members

Nothing. It really sucks back there. You really wouldn't like it. It'd be a complete waste of your time and money. I'd just forget the whole thing, including the supporting membership, even exists.

Well that sure makes me want to spend $25.

 

Considering the sites net worth is only a couple thousand dollars. I dont see them putting much money into the sport or keeping trails maintained! Also keeping in mind there's only 20-30 paying members. If they did offer a $15 fee with less advantages I would expect to see at very least an annual donation to trail cleanup efforts, and or wildlife conservation! I also don't think the lesser paying members should have access to the underground, as that's a want not a need. (You WANT to visit the underground, but we NEED to keep our trails open!)

If you WANT to see whats back there, pry the wallet out of your tight... Ah never mind!

 

I think this thread has run it's course. It's sad when adults have to be treated like children. Now we are down to twisting posts into meaning something they don't. Nothing different than the average tree hugger.

Anyways discussion is over move on. Don't like it don't care.
