Default hey new owners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the pop-ups from your sponsors are popping up in some pretty crappy spots. i.e. you can not X them out, and they're covering anything and everything I want to click on.

which allows less access to what I actually want to access on the main screen.

please fix it. Thanks.

yeah. already have it...it wasn't doing it's job so I reloaded it.

either way, I noticed that the add bar disappeared this week, and right around the changeover or whatever happened with ownership of the site..

after that disappeared, in the top left of the screen on home screen and user cp, there is an add that you CANNOT get rid of by Xing out of it.

once I reinstalled adblock, it was taken care of. my point though is simply that there should be a designated area for that garbage, like there was before, to keep it from interfering with the function of the site.

Thanks,

Pat

Yeah, I keep having to refresh the page and about 1 out of every 3 times I can click on OEM tech and Advanced Cherokee Tech.

Even when I'm not logged on I don't see what your saying. There's a couple ads but nothing that's interfering with me browsing. And all I'm running is fire fox. Sure it's not on your end?
Moving this to where they will most Likely see this thread to.

I have to second this. I don't have anything popping up here at all. I log in on multiple computers throughout the week and haven't noticed any sore of influx of ads or anything popping up over the screen.

I run the most recent firefox with adblock plus. I just recently installed Trend Micro Titanium system manager, but haven't ever had issues on CF. I did manage to get a hold of something nasty that was sharing all sorts of data with other companies and creating a lot of unwanted solicitation to my email. But again, no pop ups.

I'd have to suggest cleaning your system to see if that helps.

I installed Adblock plus for firefox and it got rid of the ads for me. That said, I had just reset my system a couple of days ago and had the ads before and after the reset so it's likely coming from the servers hosting the site.

For some reason the ad I was always getting was for showtime
