Ding Ding Ding we have a winner. There are literally thousands of posts that go through here daily and it is physically impossible for us to catch every single post. Honestly I nor any other mod spends their time going through posts. If we are browsing and come across one we deal with it.

Now I realize there are questions that seem to get asked often that are annoying but none the less you have two options, either answer it and not complain or ignore it and move on. Complaining does little good and is completely non-productive. If you feel a post belongs somewhere else click that report button. if you feel a question was asked in another thread simply post up something like hey the question was answered in this link and give the link. Then move on. Don't be negative and don't complain. That actually annoys me and gets my attention pretty quick and that's not a good thing

Most of the stuff that would qualify for a "Hard Core" section is beyond the skill level of all but a handfull of members, thus there would be little real need for such a section.

We have a Fabrication section which keeps us busy weeding out the non fab stuff. It is not the section to ask a fab question in. It is a section to post things you have already fabricated that may be of interest to the rest of the membership.

yeah but its kind of sad that our so called fab section is mostly just newbs welding hunks of 2x4 to the front frame sections using max total of 6 bolts and going on and on about welding...

i was once part of a forum where you had set limits you had to reach post counts to access other section also it was neccessary to view said newb stickies before continuing forward...a hard core section would be great yeah it would be very limited but it would expand quickly

I say yes to a hard core section it would be a great addition to this forum and alot of people can learn more stuff from it to like if some body wants to build a 3 link instead of posting a question about it they can go to the hard core section and read about some one who did it already

The fact of the matter is, there aren't that many guys here that I would even consider "hard core"....so with that being said, the section would either be dead, or wind up like the adv tech section we already have...full of elementary BS most of the time. Sorry, but CF isn't really a hard core XJ wheeler's site....I wish it was, but it's not. Actually, it's the opposite...we tend to be where a lot of XJ owners start, we are just lucky enough to have a few of them still around, now that they are more "hard core"!
