On the truck site I visit, we also have a TOTM (Truck of the month) contest.. alot of the time they have a specific subject.. Lifted, lowered, stock, stepsides, longbeds, 4x4, 2wd, ugliest, bagged, certain colors, under construction.. etc. A previous winner can not be re-nominated even from previous years, but I believe this could be amended if the vehicle has under gone a susbstantial change. Not just new wheels or added lights, etc.. but a real transfermation. I like the idea though my rig wouldnt make it very far..

For this site we could have subjects such as..

Certain year range, 2 door, 4 door, 35"+ tires, best flex shots, mud, rock, most scenic (mountain top pics including the Jeep), etc.

 

Or we could use a "TOTD" (truck of the day). Every member submits his rig and we can get a software program that randomly chooses a rig every day. Of course we have to tweak it so it doesn't choose the same rig again, at least not for a while. We could probably have a picture section on the main page under all the threads or something. This way would enable everyone to show off their rig. We have enough members to keep it interesting for quite a while without seeing the same rig twice.

 

I like the idea! I agree that catagories are a good idea so the smaller guys have a chance to win too
