I think the for sale and wanted items should be divided into states for easier veiwing.

I guess no body cares. I just thought it would easier to find the parts and know they were local because a lot of parts are to big or heavy to ship.

I dont want to scroll through a list of states to find items for sale.

If i'm looking for a widget i'd rather not have to open 50 sections to find it... or not.

Or in the thread like the rules call for.

You see how much work the Classifieds Mods do now... now add to that by making it 50 sections they need to monitor. Remember.. they are volunteers.

Even if the state is in the title you still have to look through a hundred pages of things you can't get to find the items you can. What if the wheeling pages were all mixed together?

It would not really be more work. Same number of threads just seperated?

I agree, the volunteers do a lot of work, respectively.
so since I'd too like to see a regionalized section for parts for my area, I understand why it cant happen.

However...what about modifying the 'Search' section to dropdown items like "Southern Region" (Texas) and "For Sale"? I just looked and it doesnt seem to have a way to advanced search specific sections of the forum or regions. That way the site stays the way it is, and the search engine does the segregating. This way if you choose For Sale and State/Region, all the 'for sale items' will come up for just your area of choice. Murphy Law states, "all items that are to be a great deal will be across the states, for inconvenience purposes" lol

my .02. But props to the mods, they do a lot of work in every forum! it aint easy, bein cheesey

That is a great idea and there will be no extra work for mods!

they should be like they are now... but with state/region of state to left of post title
e.g.

PA/SE random stuff for sale!!
location title

so state 1st
region of state 2nd

there fixed!
