This has been an issue for around a year now. 90% of the time when you try to upload a picture via the android app (most recent version) it crashes. The apple app doesn't do this..I've tried it on 3 different android devices (droid bionic, droid RAZR m, RAZR Max HD).. consistent on all of them.
Something is causing it to flake out during the upload procedure. I know a decent bit about android development but not enough to make a guess as to what the root cause is.

My Samsung galaxy s3 does the same thing. Super annoying. Then if by chance it does work the pic loads sideways.

 

For some reason that happens on a lot of apps. Like instagram for instance, but on there you have the option to rotate pictures so it's alright. Galaxy s3 too.
I don't think the developers care enough enough about the app to fix it, since the last update was a longgg time ago.

 

Yea apps now adays like facebook,twitter,intsagram etc or hell even some game apps freeze and stuff drives me crazy and the updates will only help so much thats y i have stopped doing the updates sort of

 

All my other apps are just fine, hell..the cf app works fine other than the pic upload feature.

 

Had to test it. (I'm on a Nexus S 4G) the first try made the app crash then would even start to load them. Backed out of the app and came back. Now no issues.

Are the pics you're trying to post on your phones internal memory or am SD card? Also mine seems more picky when I'm using 3G and not wifi.

 

This. My gs3 has done it for a year, my old phone did it too.. It's annoying because I don't have a good way to transfer my pictures (taken on phone) to my computer (Mac) because android file transfer for Mac sucks.. so I try to post from my phone because I also don't have a camera i can use and just plug into the computer.

 

Mine does it on my 50+mb/s connection at home, at my work where the connection is better than that it does it..
I can pull like 20mb/s on verizons 4G and still have the problem.

I dont upload pics from the app much, but when I do it fails...and pisses me.

 

Maybe its a Motorola thing... all my stuff is Samsung and I only have issues occasionally.

 

I mean sometimes mine will work..but its once in a blue moon.

 

Stupid app... if its make you feel better mine only loads peoples avatars once in a blue moon...
